So its been a while since we have made a post so here goes.
As I'm sure everyone knows by now this school year we moved into our new room, room 131 nicknamed "The Zone". It has a few bad points no getting away from that *No washroom attached to the room. *No Kitchen attached to the room. *No window to the outside world. But you know what we are an adaptive bunch, Everyone in the room can get themselves to the nearest washroom without a fuss. We get to go on walks so the lack of a window is really not a big issue for us and OMG...they have food not only in the office but also in room 120, and as long as we have finished our work we can stretch our legs and get a snack. (editors note: This snacks are paid for by the breakfast program, we do have snacks and milk in the unit but somehow food from afar is always better.) Ok thats the bad now the good..... * The room is huge. * We have separate desks and area to work in private if we need it, there is a chill area and a play area and even a quiet room, with a pea-pod. *did we mention the room is huge...it is we love it. You guys should pop in one day and see it, we can show you our desk (and where we pop our finished work. We don't spend all our time in the zone in fact only 2 students are scheduled in there for all four periods this semester. And then each day we are out and about delivering attendance for Mr Crittall (and socializing with other staff members but don't tell Mr Crittall.) Taking drinks for people (and socializing again) We collect recycling and fill the milk and pop machines, We also leave the building to swim, visit the library and to shop. Over all we thought this was going to be a difficult move for us, but we are far more adaptive than that and it has been a easy change, (even when Mr Crittall sneakily moves something in the room.) Yours Students from "the Zone"
